Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Psalms 103: 1-2
It is our goal here at Goose Creek Church of Christ to simply be Christians and to pursue diligently a unity as found in the New Testament. Therefore, we reject all names, titles and creeds not found in the word of God. We are as Ephesians 4:3-6 says, "Endeavoring to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace. There is ONE BODY and ONE SPIRIT, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM; ONE GOD and FATHER OF ALL, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Our allegiance is to JESUS CHRIST and HIS WORD, and not to the doctrines of men. The most important question anyone must answer is, ARE YOU SAVED? In Matthew 15:8-9 Jesus says, "These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."
